These terms apply to the Subtitle Notes browser extension, Windows companion app, Android app and website.
Using Subtitle Notes
You may use Subtitle Notes to translate and save subtitle text for your own language learning. You are responsible for the content you choose to save or share and for having the rights needed to use it.
Shared words and safety
Sharing is optional and off by default. Do not post spam, scams, harassment, sexual or explicit material, threats, violent material, or content that violates someone else's rights. We may remove shared material, restrict an account, or take other action when needed to keep the service safe. You can report a person or word and block a person directly in the Friends section of the app.
Children and social features
Children may use the private learning mode. Friends, shared words, likes and people search are unavailable until the account reaches the age shown by the neutral age screen. A parent or guardian must confirm child learning mode.
Your account and data
Keep access to your Google account secure. You can delete your account in the app at any time. See our Privacy Policy and account deletion instructions for details.
Service changes
Subtitle Notes is provided as available. Features can change or be suspended to improve security, comply with law, or maintain the service.
